Eleanor Park

Eleanor Douglas is a plumpy teenage girl with giant, untaimable red curls, crazy freckles, and a wacky sense of fashion including men's clothing—think: button-up shirts, blazers, and men's ties knotted in her hair or around her wrists. Her family lives in poverty and can barely afford a toothbrush or shampoo. She usually stands out in a crowd. She is bullied because of her appearance, but she tries not to let it get under her skin. She isn't afraid to be different and be herself which Park loved about her. Her family life was complicated. Her mom married Richie, who obviously does not care for her. He even kicks Eleanor out for a year. She and her siblings deals with him yelling at her mom and her crying. They all were dealing with a harsh family life. When Park came into her life he would take her away from her family and make her relax and love him.
